Alexander Alperovich, M.D.

Dr. Alexander Alperovich, who is board certified in internal medicine, cardiovascular diseases, and interventional cardiology, was born in Villnius, Lithuania. He graduated medical school at Kaunas University School of Medicine in 1982.

His post graduate education, including an internal medicine residency and a cardiovascular fellowship were both completed at Beth Israel Medical Center, an affiliate of Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York City, NY in 1995. Dr. Alperovich's fellowship in Interventional Cardiology was completed at University of Massachusetts Medical Center, Worchester, MA in 1996.

Dr. Alperovich relocated to Jackson in 2008 from Orlando, Florida, where he was co-founder and managing partner in his practice for 11 years. While in Florida, he was Chief of Medical Staff and co-director of the Cardiac Catherization Lab at Florida Hospital. He remains actively involved in clinical research.
