Dr. Remy Valdivia, who is board-certified in both electromyography and rehabilitation medicine, founded EMG Specialty Clinics, P.C.
Dr. Valdivia is the only physician in Jackson that is board certified in Electromyography (the specialty of nerve and muscle testing). He has performed thousands of nerve and muscle studies while serving in Jackson since 2003. A patient typically gets referred to him for testing for symptoms that include numbness, tingling, burning, pain, and/or weakness. These symptoms can be caused by focal nerve entrapments, focal nerve injuries, generalized peripheral neuropathies, radiculopathies, myopathies, as well as other neuromuscular disorders.
Dr. Valdivia sees patients in his main office in Jackson on a weekly basis. There are also eight conveniently located satellite offices throughout West Tennessee that he visits every other week. Dr. Valdivia personally performs each study. A referring provider can expect the best in nerve and muscle testing and receive a complete report within a day of testing.
